Prayagraj Police on Monday pasted कुर्की (attachment) notices on the homes of three absconding accused – Guddu Muslim, Arslan, and Sabir. Simultaneously, a reward of five lakh rupees each has been announced for these individuals.
These three accused are implicated in the murder of Umesh Pal and his associates on February 24, 2023. Two police constables were also killed during the incident. Despite capturing several accused through encounters and arrests, these three remained at large.
Alongside the कुर्की notices, police conducted the action publicly by reading out the orders and informing local residents. Authorities have warned that if the accused do not surrender within a specified timeframe, their properties will be auctioned off.
Police stated that twelve accused have already been arrested, with the remaining individuals still being actively sought. This action is expected to increase pressure on the case, and police are hopeful that the wanted, and rewarded, suspects will surrender instead of continuing to evade capture.
